Job Context
M& A Composite is looking for a highly organised and proactive Store Executive (Fabric) to join our Factory Supply Chain & Inventory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day fabric store operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a smooth workflow between the store and production floor.

Workplace Environment: On-site (Full-time factory based).
Key Responsibilities

Unloading & Receiving: Supervise the physical unloading of fabric rolls from commercial vehicles. Inspect goods for transit damages and verify quantities against commercial invoices and packing lists.

Floor & Space Management: Organize the fabric warehouse systematically layout-wise (by Buyer, Style, PO, Color, and GSM). Ensure the storage area is clean, moisture-free, and optimized for space.

Line Issuance: Issue fabrics to the Cutting Department strictly according to the daily production plan, fabric requisition slips, and FIFO standards.

Wastage & Leftover Control: Track and document end-bits, short-pieces, and leftover fabrics after cutting. Maintain a dedicated ledger for leftover stocks to minimize wastage.

Shade & Lot Segregation: Ensure different fabric lots and shade groups are clearly tagged and segregated to avoid mixing during bulk production.

Team Supervision: Lead and monitor the daily performance of store helpers, helpers, and loaders to maintain discipline on the store floor.
Job Requirements

Education: Graduate from reputed institution. Candidates with Textile / Apparel background will get preference.

Experience: 3 to 4 years of direct factory-floor experience in a Woven/Knit Garments or Textile fabric store.

Technical Skills: Must be comfortable updating daily stock sheets in MS Excel or the factory’s ERP system.

Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment and handle physical stock verification duties.

Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours or shifts during peak shipment pressures.
Technical & Fabric Knowledge Requirements:

Fabric Types: Strong foundational knowledge of both knit and woven fabrics.

GSM & Width Management: Deep understanding of fabric GSM variation, dia/width measurements, and how to calculate shrinkage and wastage during fabric layout.

Quality Parameters: Ability to visually identify common fabric defects

Inspection Standards: Familiarity with fabric inspection systems (such as the 4-Point System) to evaluate fabric quality rolls before issuing them to the cutting floor.
